OBJECTIVE
To provide unique, location themed events for three consecutive nights, with three unique themes. The client needed ways to tie in unique “wow” performances with the city’s history, vibe and culture.
SOLUTIONS
Day 1
Larimer Square Street Party. The client was looking for ways to tie in the “vibe” of the bustling Denver arts and music scene with its amazing outdoor sports such as hot air ballooning and rock climbing. We designed and fabricated oversize representations of two famous sculptures in Denver, namely the “Big Blue Bear” that looks into the Denver Convention Center where the daily sessions were held, and the “Dancing Duo” located near the Convention Center.
To bring these characters to life we fabricated an inflatable bear and giant illuminated puppets, that partied with guests on the dance floor and throughout the Street Party. For the “Wow” moments, an acrobat performing aerial acts while floating through the party beneath a giant helium sphere, and a sway pole performance where acrobats dropped banners displaying the Conference slogan were just the right touch.
Day 2
Bal Masque, Masquerade Theme Party. The purpose of the event was to elevate the guests experience with a unique twist on a masquerade ball. This was the "Theme" party in a series of three consecutive events for a multi-day corporate convention. This client consistently prides themselves on exceeding expectations and having fabulous "WOW" moments for their guests. The objective of the event was to create an evening of mystery, intrigue and interactive performances. Our client wanted to engage the audience with interesting custom entertainment elements.
